BOB MARLEY: THE MAKING OF A LEGEND MAKES IT'S MARCH 24TH 2012 BARBADOS PREMIERE THIS SATURDAY!

As things quickly start moving around the worldwide film Bob Marley: The Making Of A Legend, this Saturday it premiere's in Barbados cultural scene March 24th 2012. Recently Esther attended the DocMiami International Film Festival on March 15th 2012. It celebrated the one year anniversary from the findings of the "lost footage" The night also brought Aston Barrett Jr. (Reggae Force) They played a set along with Prince Emmanuel of Nigeria. The night was wonderful says Esther. "I hope to see a few more people at the Barbados Premiere"says Esther.

STEPHEN MARLEY WINNING VICTORY AT THE GRAMMY'S!

Former reggae musician Stephen Marley received 6 Grammy's awards last night. Being as The Grammy's don't present the award on the televised program it was given out before the show aired. If you don't know what Stephen got awarded for it was his Grammy's winning album Revelation Pt 1: The Root Of The Life taking with the 6 winning Grammy's with him.

The album consisted of 14 songs throughout the release of the album, Stephen toured in support of the album.. and many songs became big hits such as No Cigarette Smoking, Pale Moonlight, Tight Ship, False Friends and Can't Keep I Down. Of course all the songs fit together and were a huge success! Congratulations to Stephen Marley on his winnings!! 

Bob Marley Still On Top After 31 Years

In 1981 when Bob left to fly away home still makes top of the charts.. For the most played Marley songs still ranging to be on top include One Love, Buffalo Soldier, Is This Love and No Woman No Cry. Still managing to rank up at the top Marley most listened song (single) is Three Little Birds at Number 3.. Also receiving the biggest download rate to date.

It strikes to see that just 2 years ago Marley's Live Forever album in Pittsburgh PA, September 23rd 1980.. reported to be his final concert to date has debuted at number fourteen on the Billboard 200 Albums chart just last year. Although currently holding the fifth spot in the best billboard reggae albums chart. Marley even though after death his popularity has grown and he is most remembered out of his music..

BOB MARLEY: THE MAKING OF A LEGEND - THE MAKING OF A WEBSITE.....

Yes I have started the Bob Marley: The Making Of A Legend website.... it is not finished yet much work is needed.... But there is progress being made.. Recently Gian has been sending info on the film about film festivals, screenshots, promo posters, reviews, videos etc.. I have been collecting them.. and putting them together on the site....

There is no official date for the release of the website... But the website will be finished before the end of February. In the meanwhile me, Esther & Gian are working hard to complete the process of the film.. updates will be given when available.

BOB MARLEY: THE MAKING OF A LEGEND - IN PROCESS OF THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE.

"Soon to be linked up with an official website" Esther comments.. Yes you it here.. Esther & Gian want to create an official website for the film BOB MARLEY: THE MAKING OF  A LEGEND... They have asked me if I want like to create and design the website I said "Yes" I thought it would be a great experience and I would love to help out.. As far as when the official site will be released onto the internet that date is still unknown... upon it's release though you will be hit with great info, photos, video and great fun! Although taking this site seriously will have to take effect. The goal is to attract the younger generation to visit and spend sometime on the site. Esther wanted me to create this site because she knows I am young and I am the perfect one to deliver the messgae to the younger people..

More news from the BOB MARLEY: THE MAKING OF A LEGEND film... The latest update is being confirmed that Esther is contacting the New York City board.. she just got a call today about the Senator from Brooklyn talking about bringing the film satellite broadcast to New York for Black History month. For that he wants her to come up to New York to celebrate Bob Marley birthday (February 6th) and to honor her for the body of work she has done. They are hoping to broadcast the satellite across New York City and 60 other countries....

Esther will also be receiving the key to the city.. which means "Wow she has really made it" I think Esther really deserves this award.. and I hope for all the best for her and her crew.. Jah Bless her
